Acoustic Signature Maximus Neo Turntable in silver with silver 9” TA-1000 Neo tonearm complete with Acoustic Signature MCX-3 cartridge. Cartridge analyzed by WAM engineering and professionally installed utilizing a WAM Engineering Corrective Shim for the ultimate alignment. This setup yields an exceptional sound stage with increased depth, width and increased 3-D imaging over the standard installation.

The Maximus Neo is a high-end belt driven audiophile turntable offering an integrated AC motor with fine speed adjustment for 33 ½ and 45 RPM playback. The Maximus features Acoustic Signatures Level 1 Automatic Vibration Control damping and 3-point height adjustable gel dampened aluminum feet for setup. This table was awarded the Acoustic Sounds Editor’s Choice Award calling out the Dura Turn Diamond® bearing, which is not only super-rigid for low noise but also exceptionally rugged with a long service life. The spindle is made of hardened stainless steel that is precision ground and then plasma coated to yield a diamond-like surface. Truly a superior table in its price class!

The TA-1000 Neo Tonearm features a custom dual layer carbon fiber tube which offers high rigidity with superior internal damping preventing unwanted vibrations. This arm utilizes SKF zero backlash, minimal friction ball bearings for optimal tracking. It is extremely adjustable with VTA, Azimuth and anti-skating along with easy cartridge adjustment.

This system utilizes the high-performance MCX-3 moving coil cartridge manufactured by Ortofon to Acoustic Signatures specifications. The stylus is a nude fine line diamond which helps the MCX-3 provide an open, dynamic and high-resolution experience. This MCX-3 has approximately 125 hours of use, (based on 160 LP’s at 45 minutes per album). Stylus images from the WAM Engineering report available upon request. Cartridge analysis, brass shim and installation alone, cost $1,250.
